HSBC Equity Fund
To generate long-term capital growth from and actively managed portfolio of equity and equity related securities.
 
HSBC India opportunities fund
The fund is an open ended equity scheme seeking long term capital growth through investments across all market capitalization, including small, mid and large cap stocks. The fund will endeavor to invest in large cap companies as well as identity mid cap stocks, which have the potential to become blue chip large cap stocks over time. The investment style is to seek aggressive growth by focusing on mid cap companies in addition to investments in large cap stocks. The fund aims to be predominantly invested in equity and equity related securities.
 
HSBC Midcap Equity Fund
To generate long term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio of equity and equity related securities primarily being mid cap stocks. However , it could move a portion of its assets towards fixed income securities if the fund manager becomes cautius or negative on the Indian equity markets.
     
   
HSBC Advantage India Fund
The Fund is an open-ended equity scheme seeking to generate long term capital growth from an actively managed portfolio of equity and equity related securities by investing primarily in sectors, areas and themes that play an important role in, and/or benefit from, india’s progress, reform process and economic development. These could include consumption, infrastructure, outsourcing and global competitiveness. The fund will attempt to take a medium term view when investing in such opportunities and will endeavor to run a more concentrated portfolio on a limited number of such opportunities.
 
   
HSBC income Fund
To provide a reasonable income whilst maintaining a prudent policy of capital conservation. The AMC’s view of interest rate trends and the nature of the plans will be reflected in the type and maturities of securities in which the plans invested.
 
   
HSBC MIP- Regular MIP/Saving
The Scheme seeks to generate reasonable returns through investments in Government Securities of various maturities. The AMC’s view of interest rate trends and the nature of the Plans will be reflected in the maturities of securities in which the plans are invested.
 
   
HSBC Floating Rate fund
The fund is an open ended income schemes seeking to generate reasonable return with commensurate risk from a portfolio comprised of floating rate debt instruments and fixed rate debt instruments swapped for floating rate returns. The scheme may also invest in fixed rate money market and debt instruments.
 
   
HSBC Cash Fund
To provide reasonable returns, commensurate with low risk while providing a high level of liquidity. Through a portfolio of money market and debt securities.
